Hooper Consulting specializes in services for start-up and small (less than 2 million dollars annually) non-profit organizations. We offer a wide range of services that include; grant writing, board development, 501(c)(3) filing, strategic planning, program development and evaluation, fund development, and training and technical assistance. It is our desire to serve emerging non-profits and help you grow to better serve your clients. Our services are priced so that smaller agencies can afford them but we provide insight, experience, and commitment that is second to none. We pride ourselves on our tradition of working with organizations from set-up through their first several years of programming. We consider it a job well done when we see an organization grow and flourish to the point that they no longer need our services.

For more than 10 years, Hooper Consulting has served a variety of agencies both large and small providing grant writing, fund development, and assistance with all forms of capacity building. We can work with you to prepare your federal grants, state grants, private foundation appeals, public foundation appeals, and individual solicitations and campaigns.  We specialize in working with small non-profits and have written successful grants that range from as small as $1500.00 to as large as 3.5 million federally funded. Our success rate is approximately 68% because we work closely with your organization to not only write the grant but help you build the organizational and programming components necessary for your grant appeal to be successful. Our most common services in this category are: grant writing, grant funding research, and grant review. All of our grants are priced individually because the amount of work required varies greatly from grant to grant. However, the following is a general pricing list to give you a general idea as you research and compare agencies for your grant writing needs. The costs are based strictly on the amount of time it takes to prepare the grant and not the amount of the grant and include all consulting time, writing, organizational assistance, and research.
Private and Public Foundation Grant Appeals: $150.00-$1150.00
State Grants: $350.00-$1750.00
Federal Grants: $725.00-$2500.00
Other Services
Grant Funding Research: $250.00 (provides you with the top 25 potential private and public foundations that match your funding needs, priorities and mission. Also, any current Federal RFP’s that are applicable)
Grant Evaluation: Typically about $10.00 per page
You will find our pricing very competitive because the bulk of our business comes from agencies that use us for several years until they are well established. Once we have worked with an agency every subsequent project requires less work because we are already familiar with the mission, structure, and programming.
